Welcome to the Volunteer Program at Pugu Hills Eco Cultural Tourism! Our program offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while immersing yourself in the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of Tanzania.

Duration: The program lasts for 90 days, providing ample time for volunteers to fully engage with our initiatives and projects.

Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in homestays within the local community, offering an authentic and immersive experience of Tanzanian life.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  1. STEM Education for Children: Work closely with local schools and community centers to provide hands-on STEM education to children, inspiring curiosity and fostering a love for learning.

Itinerary

Week 1: Arrival and Orientation - Get acquainted with your fellow volunteers and learn about the local culture, customs, and project objectives.
Weeks 2-4: Community Engagement - Dive into your chosen volunteer project, whether it's teaching at a local school, assisting in healthcare clinics, or participating in environmental conservation efforts. Build relationships with community members and contribute to ongoing initiatives.

Weeks 5-8: Project Immersion - Deepen your involvement in your volunteer project, taking on more responsibilities and actively contributing to project goals. Participate in skill-building workshops and training sessions to enhance your impact and effectiveness.

Weeks 9-11: Impact Assessment - Reflect on your experiences and evaluate the impact of your volunteer work on the community. Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop sustainable solutions.
Weeks 12-13: Farewell and Reflection - Say goodbye to the community and fellow volunteers, taking time to reflect on your journey and the lessons learned. Participate in farewell celebrations and cultural activities before departing.
